BLACK LIVES MATTER

The Peninsula Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art is in support of exposing and ending the systemic injustice, racial inequity, and violence experienced by People of Color. Our members are committed to taking the responsibility to seek solutions through education and supporting Black owned businesses. We seek a world where all can live without fear.

For more information about the Black Lives Matter movement and Anti-racism education resources, this is a great starting point: https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#educate.   For more information about artwork created by Black women, check out the Ashara Ekundayo Gallery (AEG): an arts & cultural platform in Oakland, CA that showcases 20th & 21st century art and new media works by Black womxn, women of African Diaspora, and artistic works in collaboration with Black women.
